I have learnt a wealth of knowledge from Ben over the past three days. I was really nervous about being taught the physical side of the job, not thinking that I'd be able to restrain any person larger than myself, I feel very confident now after Ben has shared his expertise. It was a productive course, as l have learnt how to restrain in a safer way for both me and the people we support.But restraining should be the last resort after trying other ways like redirecting verbally.
The course was extremely helpful and insightful. It equipped us well with the knowledge and practical skills required for Level 3. The trainer was excellent, thorough, engaging, and clear throughout the sessions. Also placed a strong emphasis on the practical aspects, making the learning experience both effective and enjoyable.
