Matt had a lot of experience and made what could have been a very dull slideshow into an engaging three days, by sharing anecdotes and encouraging open discussions.
I feel as if I have learnt a lot on this course. The instructor was really informative, answered all my questions well, and represented all the breakaway and restraint techniques super clear which made me feel at ease while I was practicing them myself. Matt is the trainer of the PBS training program, and he demonstrated excellent knowledge in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the course. He clearly highlighted the most important points in the theory section, using real-life examples to help us understand the reasoning behind certain behaviors and concerns. In the practical component, he presented and demonstrated the techniques professionally, guiding us on which areas to focus on and improve. His feedback helped refine our skills effectively. Training was intensive course on how to deal with behavioural differences and how to keep oneself and customers safe.
Fantastic course and very well delivered. Jack and Craig made it interesting and it didnt feel like the old fashioned way of reading from a textbook. Informative and hands on. We spent time refreshing old techniques and learning new ones. It made your brain work and this is what learning is all about. We are constantly developing how we support and care for others, which we should be. Everyone should have to do this course. Some of the escape techniques could save someone's life, be that at work, in public or even for some in an unsafe environment at home, could save them from harm. Very very impressed with the course and the delivery over the two days from the trainers.
