AI summary of reviews

Consistently knowledgeable, patient and engaging trainers are the provider’s clearest strength, making complex theory accessible through humour, real-life examples, discussion and hands-on practice. Attendees value the safe, supportive atmosphere, clear explanations, thoughtful adaptations and opportunities to ask questions and repeat techniques until confident. Courses are generally well structured and paced, with useful breaks, and learning transfers directly to workplace practice and everyday situations; a few attendees find some sessions longer or more repetitive than necessary.

I think the video was not relevant in future a video pre made showing scenarios at our school would be more useful. The quiz was good fun but could be more clear on points value. Some of the info was repetitive. Linda was lovely and made it fun but professional. The group size of around 12 was much better

Enjoyable refresher. Thoughts provoked from training include the video shown caused too much discussion on their practice and lost track of how to write a good detailed incident record which was the aim. Might be better if it was a set up incident delivered by our staff team relevant to our service which allows staff to write a report which can be mirrored by one completed by BWT Also at one point staff being trained went on a tangent about individuals students behaviours rather than how we as a service can support. I understand that everyone is anxious after a difficult term or an incident but it took away from the positive practice which does go on here and focused on the negative.

I appreciate your comments regarding the video and the incident report exercise, and your suggestions about tailoring examples to your service and keeping discussions focused on positive practice. We will also explore these points with associate trainers for future sessions.

Thanks .

Harli is a reflective practitioner who worked with us to answer some difficult questions / scenarios we have seen in our practice at work. She is engaging, and kept the refresher training involving with new material to highlight important reminders for us to take on board
