AI summary of reviews

Consistently knowledgeable, patient and engaging trainers are the provider’s clearest strength, making complex theory accessible through humour, real-life examples, discussion and hands-on practice. Attendees value the safe, supportive atmosphere, clear explanations, thoughtful adaptations and opportunities to ask questions and repeat techniques until confident. Courses are generally well structured and paced, with useful breaks, and learning transfers directly to workplace practice and everyday situations; a few attendees find some sessions longer or more repetitive than necessary.

From day 1 of the training it was completely different to any other training I’ve had with restraints, day 1 gave me an understanding on peoples behaviour and perhaps why they do what the do. Day 2 breakaway manoeuvres were effective and very efficient, day 3 with restrains again was very efficient and effective. Also the restraints were dignified, controlled and did not hurt which for me is definitely a step in the right direction. The course from start to finish was delivered amazingly well, Ben had a hell of a lot of knowledge within the sector and would be one of the best trainers I’ve ever had deliver a course. Rachel on the last day was exactly the same, continuity between both trainers has made the course enjoyable and very understanding. They are a credit!!

The course was very informative and interesting, at no time was it boring or over the top. Instructors where very good, and thorough which in turn made the time fly by. Very good all round.

Initially was very sceptical upon being booked onto the course as I felt the standard MVA/CRT training that is usually rolled out left me unconfident and ill equipped to deal with aspects of the job role. Upon entering the room on the first day, riddled with social anxiety, Ben immediately put me at ease, introduced himself with a massive smile. Ben was very passionate in teaching this course, it was very evident that this was something close to his heart that made me genuinely interested in learning the theory and the practical aspects of the course. The practical aspects of the course was repeatedly drilled into us, and he tested with intent and rigour to replicate real life scenarios so I felt confident in using the techniques. Rachel was also brilliant. Very out-going, put me at ease and again passionate about what she was teaching so I bought into it. The course was outstanding, by far the most enjoyable course I've been on, nothing but great things to state about both trainers and the course itself and most importantly I am confident to use both verbal techniques and practical techniques right away with no hesitation. Seriously impressed
