Very important and allowed me to relate back to certain situations that happen with students and helped to see a different perspective of behaviours and how to de escalate such behaviours
Good and clear training and very informative when answering questions.
First 2 days was a lot to take in but Gemma was brilliant and it was clear from the beginning what the relevance of the course content was in relation to my school. The third 3 day was also very intense but Matt's knowledge of breakout's and restraining techniques was incredible as was his ability to explain what I was doing wrong and how to rectify my techniques. Although I would rather not use these techniques, I am very confident that if I had to, and no doubt I will, be able to use my knowledge to de-escalate situations in school.
