I think the course could use a bit more time. It is hard to balance full time job, class and family. So my feeling is 2 weeks is a rocket to the moon. Another week or even just few extra days and shorten the class time from 4 hours to 3 hours would help allowing for that 4th hour to be used for labs. As much fun as the instructor has been that last hour these last couple of days has been really hard to stay attentive if even awake. Other than that I really enjoyed the class and the instructor. He was funny and informative as well as we as a class had some good laughs during the learning experience.
CCNA is a big course that requires a full month of class and is not enough to be absolutely prepared for the CISCO CCNA exam. It is a great class that encourages you to continue with your CCNA studies. It is totally worth it!
In my opinion the time allotted for the course could have been managed much better by the instructor if he could stick to the information provided by ACI learning and the information that needed to be covered for the course. He has a tendencies of going away from the information needing to be taught and makes it very hard to follow along while trying to learn new information and something you're not familiar with or have any experience in.
Additional weeks should be added to the course. It is difficult to work full time and keep up with studies and homework.
A good comprehensive course of study of the skills necessary to equip any Information Technology professional in performing the role of Network Administrator and Engineer. This course and the instructor has made a positive impact in my knowledge and skills and will allow me to better understand our network environment and manage our Information Technology department better and more efficiently
At first I felt weary about taking the networking courses. However after going through this program I feel good about network + and it’s definitely caught my interest. Thank you Mr. Smith!
Out of all the courses I've taken so far at ACI, this class spoke to me the most in regards to the curriculum and learning structure. I found myself being able to follow along a lot more compared to the other classes I've taken and it made me feel more accomplished in my abilities to be able to take my certification exam and pass it on a first try.
Great course, great instructor! I wish I had more time to learn some of the topics more in depth as well as do the labs.
The class was very interesting, but heavily compressed. Definitely needs to be spread out over a longer time span.
