The tutor had a clear and longstanding understanding of the issues faced by church members and clergy.

Thank you to Sofia for the session and powering through when she was ill. Enjoyed it and feel more confident to have these difficult conversations. Good amount of break out rooms

Fantastic course, has made me reflect on myself and how I could approach a person with suicidal intention in an empathetic, supportive and kind way

Really good. Its breaking down stigma's. Like women have made talking about menopause is now more accepted. Mens health should also be. This helps.

This course has taught me a valuable life skill. I haven't prepared mentally before for what I might say or do if someone said they were feeling suicidal and this has really made me think deeply about what the best response would be. Before the course, I was just thinking that being kind, listening and most likely trying to suggest solutions that might help would be the way forward. I can now see how it is important to be comfortable with talking about suicide rather than shy away from it.
