The National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education & Training UK CIC Reviews

I found the Suicide First Aid course highly informative and genuinely eye‑opening. It helped me understand the structured steps involved in de‑escalating a crisis and dismantling a person’s suicide plan in a calm, safe and methodical way. The course was fully interactive throughout, which allowed me to contribute, ask questions and learn from the experiences of others in the group. Being able to hear different perspectives enhanced the overall learning and made the training feel practical, relevant and engaging.

A clear, concise and enjoyably interactive training session.

Good course aimed at departments that have limited interactions with people who are in crisis. Enhanced Customer Care team would be less relevant as these are interactions that we are trained to take and have a lot of guidance around.

Venue - room too small. Too noisy - noise of store and warehouse

Overall, this course seem to be a small refresher for my role, this was more facts and data to start, in my role I do this on a daily basis so already know the speaking technics and skills needed, this was beneficial for someone who has never engaged with someone in a crisis but for those who regularly do them was a not very informative for us as we already know majority of this stuff and was hoping for more hands on knowledge.
