I feel the tutor Andrea is full of passion and energy . She is a good communicator on different levels and professional to guide and teach suicide safety whilst providing useful tips . This training course is very helpful and I feel now how to cope if I deal with people who need help.

I will talk to my team. I had a friend who committed suicide and only wish I had this information then. I was involved in her life.

Although the course is useful for anyone who wants to try and make a difference, I feel it should be part of any induction process for anyone who are public facing sitting along side issues of safeguarding and poverty. Although i'm an experienced advisor, it has made me think more about the role I can play in preventing suicide. I feel much more confident about approaching this subject with my clients, asking direct questions and hopefully being the catalyst for change.

The training was very useful and has made me feel more confident in recognising red flags that people maybe experiencing suicidal thoughts. I feel I will be better equipped following the training to discuss how my clients are feeling and has given me a better understanding of what somebody who is experiencing suicidal thoughts does and does not need.
