I enjoyed the course, however from a personal view point I would like to see a Christian element to be considered as my work is done through church and faith as part of safeguarding. Faith can help as well as our approach being through compassion and love.
I feel more confident now on how to help someone with suicide thoughts or ideas
I was very apprehensive before attending. But what is I learned has been very powerful and the hidden toll of suicide the cost and ripple effects on the wider circle of people is incredible. I feel as a council we need to be more open and perhaps targets the age group [men] that are more likely to end their life.
Response: Thanks for your comments, Rebecca - will be great to have you in our SFA network.
It was great and I met new colleagues from different departments within the organisation.
Very informative and interesting. Will recommend. The information arojnd "committed suicide" being an outdated and inappropriate term was something I didn't know about.
It's a very good educative knowledge experience for me, I looked forward for my courses about Mental health. Thank you.
