The course felt very balanced and empowering. I found that it allowed me to reflect and consider what further learning would assist me. It also showed me that I need practice in delivering the materials but I want an opportunity to observe to feel more confident.

I enjoyed the course and came away with a better understanding of suicide and the signs to expect and how to approach people who may be having thoughts of suicide. The tutor did encourage us to give our opinions but wasn't forceful about it and didn't judge our comments.

Response: Hi Juber. Thank you for your comments. I'm pleased to hear that you gained so much from the course and that you found the approach helpful :)

The suicide first aid course with Stephanie Charles was fantastic. It did help having previously done the mental health first aid course, but this was not a necessity to complete this as Stephanie's training was very individual to suicide and broken down into a very informative and thought provoking way. Amazing training and enjoyed it. Thank You.
