Good training to have a understanding of how to deal with a customer who may directly or indirectly speak to you about suicide and how to handle the situation

I will hopefully be able to recognise someone with suicidal thoughts easier, also remove the stigma and taboo around this subject. I won’t be afraid to ask the question outright now.

I enjoyed the course although I think we may need to follow up by reviewing our own internal processes to make it clearer for front line staff

I have a background in working within MH services and have lots of experience in dealing with suicide. I think it might have been helpful to work with people at the same experience level as conversations could go deeper, and be more relatable to the persons job, or current experience. however, I would highly recommend this course, and the tutor as a mandatory course. thank you.
