Good course and content . Delivered by a competent trainer.

Great training should be available to more services and as a refresher yearly to keep skill set up and remind people to raise awareness and challenge stigma

1. input from other participants was very good - it would not have been such an effective teaching session if people had not contributed as these did 2. I expected it to go until 5pm but we finished at 4.15. A little more time for the discusions in breakout rooms would have been good and I felt teh facilitator was hurrying towards teh end of teh session as if he felt not enough time left

I felt it was well put together and Chris was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional but I would have liked more time to talk with the group. I really liked the group being put into the different rooms on Zoom so we could discuss the questions and I think more of that and for a bit longer could have been good. I would have liked to have heard more people's experiences and examples and especially since the pandemic and then heard Chris's comments.

Overall, a difficult topic trained well. There were a few technical difficulties for some learners in accessing the digital workbook. I could access it and print it off, but I couldn't save it or type into it, which would have been useful. I did feel that the course should conclude with a specific section on self care for the person who has done the suicide intervention - as, having previously done it, I know it can have a lasting impact and trauma. Although it was discussed when I raised it, I felt it would not have been addressed if I had raised it.

More breaks are necessary. Its a lot of information to take in and discuss, learning through Zoom is particularly tiring.

I didn't really consider this subject and how I could help others before today. That has all changed following this session and I feel confident that if the need arises I would be in a good position to help people with suicidal thoughts.

I think the Webex system wasn't the best, although I do understand why the system was used over other video conferencing systems. The ability to message and tick and cross was good for participation

well organised, presented and a great way to gain an understanding of this subject.

I feel that this type of training session is very important to anyone who works within the “Patient Care” service. Everyone that has contact with vulnerable individuals, should be aware of the signs and symptoms of potential suicidal individuals.
