I feel the pacing could be improved a little - we seemed to be speeding through the last, probably most important session, on noticing signs and how to engage with people considering suicide

I found the training really useful and full of insights that I haven't picked up in through my exposure to mental health and/or suicide prevention work yet. The only missing piece was that the video that was used was not reflective of Indian contexts, even though it was perfectly suitable for explaining the concepts. The trainer filled the gap a lot by sharing cases and incidents from her own work, however, a more gender diverse and culturally relevant video would have been more useful.

the overall content was very good, unfortunately my computer decided to play up so I was not able to participate as I ought, i could hear but could not respond

Really great training on recognising and responding to someone who is feeling suicidal. Particularly found it useful asking directly if someone is considering suicide. I feel the trainer did really well. Only suggestion would be to provide some materials of where we can signpost people at the end. Also maybe more emphasis on how to respond would be more appropriate for me personally as my clients often tell me when they are suicidal.
