Useful topic, did feel better that was dealing with this at home, as very sensitive subject which was dealt with as such

I recently lost a friend to suicide and for me, everyone around him knew he was struggling with his mental health and he had a great supportive network around him and it still wasnt enough to keep him here. i just wish there was more we could have done. It was hard to sit in and listen and do this training today but i am so glad i did. i have learnt alot from it, especially different approaches

I was not looking forward to this training as I have had personal experience of suicide in my immediate family and I am still quite traumatised. However, I went away actually feeling ok and more equipped to help people and actually a little bit restored.

It has made me think a lot about my preconceived ideas about the way I and others have been brought up to think about suicide. The British stiff upper lip and boarding school have much to answer to!

This course has given me the confidence to respond in a situation of crisis, to recognise the warning signs and the knowledge to act as a Suicide 1st Aider

Really enjoyed course - My sound was a little intermittent and delayed which meant I wasn't very vocal however still really enjoyed listening to the trainer and other attendees
