Great course, great trainer!

This was a refresher course for me, having done it 3y ago. I found this course interesting and useful; I had not met this trainer before, so she offered a fresh perspective on the training. We were a very small group, so there was a lot of interaction, which kept things moving.

Although I still feel apprehensive about the process of attending court, this course has definitely given me a better understanding and a reduction in the fear of the unknown.

I found the training very informative in preparation of what is expected from me as an expert witness if I need to attend court. It has prepared me with an understanding of the process and tips on how to deal with cross-examining. It was good to hear real-life examples which put the training into context. Thank you.

Relaxed presentation style encouraged questions and expression of worries and concerns about going to court. Very helpful content put over in a very accessible way. Helpful course. I would recommend it.

I had previously attended a similar course in England some 18 years ago and was left feeling very concerned about possible court appearances - I found the barrister leading the course to be somewhat threatening, sneaky and mean in his questioning. With many subsequent added years of my own professional maturity and experience, and with far better presentation of this course today I was left feeling that now with a better understaning of the processes, and some more practice in the future, the process will be substantially less threatening than earlier. I found my role-playing practice session, as well as listening to others, has been very valuable.
