Courtroom Skills for Expert Witnesses Reviews

I was very nervous and apprehensive going into this two day training, particularly with regards to the role play. I thought I would make a mess of things and my confidence would be shattered. It was the complete opposite! I am so thankful that I participated and wasn't afraid to get something wrong, or make a mistake.

A very good and informative course - good use of role play, and the presenter is obviously an expert in the field.

The role play is great and I do recommend it. However, it would be better to know who you are going to be, perhaps the day before, so that you can prepare for your role play. In a real situation you would at least know who you are - it is very difficult to role play on the hoof when you are not that person and do not thoroughly know your witness statement. So not sure why we weren't given that opportunity... Other than that the course was great :)

Very helpful guidance on dos and don'ts of being a witness, protocol, housekeeping, styles of questions and scope of responses.
