I was really worried about this course - the practical elements etc but Nick made the whole process safe, engaging and, as a result felt as though I've learnt so much. Please pass on my thanks to him, I'm a much better Expert Witness because of this

The course was very useful. The only thing I would say could add to the day is maybe some videos of actual questioning of an expert. The practical was very nerve-wracking but very beneficial for me to see how it might be if/when I go to court.

Excellent course to introduce the etiquette and procedures inside a court. I have only scored my post course knowledge as a 6 because I clearly have a lot more to learn! This is not a reflection on the trainer. The knowledge gained today will assist and develop me in my EW report writing.

Nick delivered the training in a very engaging and accessible way, helping to demystify the courtroom process. By clearly explaining the roles and motivations of both defence and prosecution solicitors, he removed the sense of personal attack from cross-examination and refocused the responsibility of the role of us as expert witnesses. Having the opportunity to role play a cross examination was really valuable, although daunting, and I'm reminded of how important it is to remain in your area of knowledge, stay impartial and objective.

Just one small piece of feedback when I printed out the pages the page numbers were missing which made it harder to follow.

Richard Stone's preparation in advance of cross-examining each of us was impressive. It was clear he was familiar with all of our submitted case studies enabling him to ask the appropriate questions. I have learned many things today which has given me more confidence in how I will perform if and when I am required to appear in court.

Really good trainer and being in a smaller group gave the chance to ask more questions and get more from the training day.
