I really liked the practical side of it the course, actually putting the techniques into practice as the session went on rather than one big assessment at the end. Pre and post course assessments are a great idea also!
Exercises, although beneficial, felt repetitive and tedious after a while, making concentration and attention levels difficult to maintain
The course helped to pick up on how easily I can make mistakes. Helped develop new methods in transferring data with the use of splitting up digits into 3 and using the rhythm when saying numbers. I also noticed faster pace of work with numbers rather than letters and words.
Gave some good strategies for becoming more accurate at work
The course highlighted that alphanumerical data is a weak point of mine when transferring data, which is a data type we work with a lot (diagram numbers and head codes)
Will be interesting to see the overall accuracy improvement in the coming months.
I think the course content is really good and makes a very dry subject interesting and fun. But for our team I think we were already at such a high level of accuracy there was minimal scope for improvement. Also, I appreciate that the timed events are to try and encourage people to use the tools they are learning by default. But it felt like the onus was sometimes quite focused on the turn around time, which felt counter to the message of time not being important. So I enjoyed the course, but felt it maybe needed to be a bit more tailored to our style of data handling.
Excellent trainer made the course enjoyable and interactive.
I thought the course was interesting, and taught me skills I can put on to my daily role. However, I did find the course very intense and a little repetitive.
