Doing the course will assist in confidence building/preparation for when having to undertake interviews. I found the course to be set at a good pace and level for ease of understanding.

Everything - there has been extensive insight into the theory behind, and practical aspects of, interviewing, its purpose and key issues to consider. The teaching experience has been fantastic in comparison to other courses I have been on. Jim has clearly underpinned the course with a clear grounding in core teaching principles. His style is methodical, but far from slow. The course is pitched correctly, clearly and methodically planned, and most importantly engaging and underpinned by his own professional experience. The combination of teaching approaches, the engagement and practicality of the course exercises, and the variety of recall and practice opportunities is really refreshing. Excellent delivery again and useful having 2x trainers to assist with acting out scenarios during the training. Like the use of acronyms as it makes things more memorable & easy to use during an interview.

Jim created a relaxed environment, not overly focussing on the role playing aspects which not everyone was comfortable with listening and adapting the training accordingly and giving autonomy to the class.

I think the case study is quite difficult as it is not usually something we would come across in our roles to have to find out more information about. However, Jim was excellent at teaching what we need to know as well as explaining how it would relate to and differ within our environments. I thought the use of videos, role play and other tasks were great use of facilitating the session.

Jim was brilliant - he managed to make it completely engaging, fun, and applicable to our job role. He used lots of different learning styles for everyone and ive come away feeling 10 times more confident than when I went in!
