One of the most informative, and engaging courses I have ever done

Outstanding instructor. Clear knowledge and passion for the subject matter. Built exceptional rapport with all of us. Gently coached us all through the course. I don't give praise lightly, so I really mean this. I would have really liked to see him in action in his policing interview days. Clearly a master at his craft.

A very well‑delivered course. It’s a difficult subject to keep people engaged with, but the delivery helped maintain interest throughout. For me personally, I feel that three 6‑hour days might have been better than two very long days, as it would have made the content easier to absorb

Overall a very good training course. We really need to improve staff's confidence in conducting interviews and I think this training will really help with that.

Our Trainer Tim Kirkham answered all our questions and adapted the training to suit our roles and circumstances.

Overall I found the course a really interesting refresher of the techniques I'd learned in the police, and it allowed me to brush up on some skills I hadn't used in a while. A bit more knowledge around the difference between criminal interviews and regulatory interviews might have been helpful (i.e. how the SRA have to disclose evidence) but this is quite a niche area so I understand why this may be difficult to apply. Great course!
