This was a fabulous course. Instructors were excellent. Very personable. Challenged me to think differently. Furthermore, positioned entire content in a way that was understandable. Felt at ease engaging intasks.

Very informtive and helpful. Handbook is really good and course is full of really good information and strategies to apply in a variety of situations. I think there is a need for updated stats and information post-covid if possible. Some resources such as websites or apps to have in mind would be helpful as well.

The course was really engaging and I found it had the perfect balance of presentations, group discussion and smaller group work. I learned a lot and feel I could confidently apply mental health first aid in both a personal and professional capacity. Both intstructors were engaging and created a safe and welcoming space for the group.

Cannot recommend this course more highly and especially Helen Lewis as an instructor - I feel so much better in engaging with people I meet whose mental health is not good - thank you especially to Helen

Helen was an excellent instructor. Sharing her own experience of mental health problems was so moving and helpful for us , and so courageous of her. The course material - because of what it is dealing with - is very challenging, but Helen helped us work through it in a very accessible way. The videos in the course material were also very helpful. Although the course has meant that theoretically I am better prepared to help someone - I won't know until it actually happens!
