Steve was very engaging and made the content highly interesting and worthwhile. Most training nowadays is PowerPoint heavy, although Steve used slides he incorporated these into the training seamlessly alongside the conversational content. Steve made the course very enjoyable, considering some of the content being of a difficult nature.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a Mental First Aid training session, and I can honestly say it was one of the most valuable and inspiring learning experiences I’ve ever had. The session was led by Steve, who is hands down the best trainer I’ve ever worked with. From the very beginning, Steve created a welcoming and supportive environment. His delivery was not only incredibly informative, but also warm, engaging, and deeply empathetic. He brought a wealth of knowledge to the table, but what really stood out was his ability to make complex topics accessible and relatable. His passion for mental health awareness was infectious, and it kept the entire group engaged throughout. The content was thought-provoking and practical, equipping us with essential skills and a deeper understanding of how to support others, and ourselves, more effectively. Steve encouraged open discussion and made everyone feel heard and valued, which added so much richness to the learning experience. I genuinely didn’t want the session to end, which says everything about the quality of the training. I left feeling informed and inspired to put what I’d learned into practice. I can’t recommend this training highly enough. If you have the opportunity to attend a session with Steve, take it! You’ll walk away not just better equipped, but genuinely changed for the better.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend this course. Alan was amazing, he was open and shared his experiences. He let everyone share if they wanted to as it was a safe space. I really enjoyed the course and feel more equipped to be able to help others. I would like to learn more about mental health. I appreciated the information that was giving with all the charities that are available to everyone. Thank you once again

Really enjoyed the course, feel like I have a better understanding of mental health and would now be confident to try and help someone suffering and give them support and encourage them to get the help needed by professional services.
