The course and the instructor, Julie, were both wonderful. Frank and open discussions and conversations presented in a welcoming and supportive environment. I would recommend this course to anyone considering undertaking it, it feels so valuable to have completed. I would perhaps have preferred if the webinars were split over 3 sessions instead of 2. I know the structure may not allow for this, but given the intensity of the subject I personally found (even with breaks) 3.5 hours too long in one sitting to allow for parity of concentration throughout. Also, I'd like to note that it may be an idea to allow participants to have prior knowledge of who is undertaking the course with them, as it may not always be suitable or comfortable to share as much as this course invites you to depending on who is involve. Thank you to Julie and to all who help deliver this vital training.
The knowledge I've gained from this course is really valuable to me. I feel better equipped to support mental health not only in my workplace, but in my personal life with friends and family. I think the course structure could be improved - even though it was broken up into two sessions with breaks and activities, it was still difficult to sit and listen to someone talk for a long time.
The course was really informative. The different videos & scenarios were interactive and helped bring the Algee model to real life. A real powerful video of the chick and the golden nugget too.
It was an excellent course. Very informative and helpful. I'm coming away from it a lot more informed of what I can do to help anybody who might be in this situation. Thank you

Very good course with lots on interaction and discussions in the group. Nice to be in a small group so it wasn't overwhelming to talk about sensitive subjects.
I think the ALGEE is a really helpful model - simple and covers it all and should be easy to remember
