This course highlights the importance of the course and how it can help within our work place. Not only for supporting our patients but each other (work colleagues).

I thought the course itself was excellent, the materials are really well designed and prepared. There is just enough information to feel like you get a good background in the topics without feeling overwhelmed, and also plenty of other resources to dig deeper. I'm really glad I've done this course and I am looking forward to making a difference in my organisation and hopefully beyond!

I enjoyed the balance between individual, paired and small group tasks. I thought that co-delivering a part of the training was very useful and utilised many skills (co-operation, supporting one another, relationships, active listening to name but some). There was good opportunity to discuss and begin to reflect. Very useful training ( I was self-funding) and overall, a great week. Looking forward to co-delivering the first 2 courses.

An informative, encouraging course that provides plenty of guidance - and expertise, in the form of the instructors - and, crucially, enables participants to put this learning into practice. Gwen and Rhys could not have been better instructors and I am really grateful for our time with them, and I know that the rest of the group are, too. Undertaking the instructor training was a welcome opportunity to revisit my initial MHFA training content from a year ago as well as to learn about how to relay this knowledge to others. I would definitely recommend this course and am most grateful for having been able to complete it; I will also really appreciate the handbook and teaching guide going forward, too, which are helpful, comprehensive and accessible resources. Thank you very much, MHFA Cymru - and special thanks once again to Gwen and Rhys, who I hope are now enjoying a well-deserved break this bank holiday weekend!
