Kevin did a great job at ensuring we were all comfortable to engage with a difficult topic. The day was relaxed with breaks at the right time. I feel confident in being able to speak to someone who I think might be experiencing thoughts of suicide and knowing how to create a safety plan with them or seek advice from other professionals. I feel confident in knowing that it's ok not to know everything as that isn't what a Suicide First Aider is there for, that's for the professionals. I look forward to engaging more with Kevin in the future for other CPD training that will help me.
