The course had some good practical suggestions (scripts to use) and made a difficult subject feel easier to approach, if we find ourselves in that situation.

An excellent session - the three and a half hours flew by. It was really useful and practical - the straightforwardness of the approach was a breath of fresh air!

I have rated the pace of the training as a 3, it was a slow start due to the lack of preparation on behalf of some of the group. The technical issues on the work book didn't help either. Once she got going Esther was confident with her subject , using the provided material well. It was a shame she had to hurry the end .

It has been such a useful session; now I’ve got to work out how I get the over 1200 staff in my trust to have the same understanding.

The course provided me with the overall understanding of Suicide first Aid. The tutors responses to a wide range of questions gave confidence that she knew her subject and gave me confidence about using the material in real situations. The initial technical issues with the workbook was a bit distracting for the first few slides
