In view of the remote delivery aspect, well done. Informative and well presented

I cannot speak highly enough of this course it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, infact the only bad thing about the event was when it came to an end it was in my opinion so good. Everything was delivered in such a professional yet relaxed manner and everybody was able to be interactive. I particularly liked the way the course opened with values and attitudes as it gave the participants the opportunity to really think abut suicide and discuss what they believed suicide to be, it helped everyone to relax and start talking and nobody was made to feel stupid as there were no right or wrong answers, just thoughts and opinions. There were parts of the course such as the ripple effect that made you sit back and really think about just how this subject matter affects the UK alone each year. Very well done and a massive clap for Andrea who I could sit and listen to all day. I would just like to say a massive thank you for giving me the opportunity to take part

I thought I knew enough about being able to have a difficult conversation with someone about their thoughts and plans to take their own lives. Now I know that I do !

In what is considered to be a tough topic, it was dealt with in a way that although it brought up memories of the past and our experiences, it gave you confidence to go forward without dwelling on perhaps what you could have should have done in those circumstances. I felt the tutor had a deep understanding of the subject matter and how it can effect the individuals that were attending the course.

The training was very well given, especially as it was virtual. I learned a lot from the instructor and the content in the handout. I honestly feel i now have the confidence to speak to others about suicide.
