A thoughtful and thought-provoking course.....more for us to discuss as tutors, especially in terms of the ripple effect of suicide gestures/attempts within College, but this is for us to take forward. The morning was well spent and despite my experience in this area I learned much from it. The course tutor was not patronising in the way that some university training courses can be...this was very welcome.
I really enjoyed this course, I definitely feel more confident working with clients who are experiencing suicidal thoughts.
Darren’s (and Alison’s) delivery was fantastic and made discussion around this emotive and difficult subject easy. The training arena felt safe. Darren should be proud of his accomplishments.
Darren & Alison both worked well to help each other out fast thinking and able to both deliver the course to us all. Very good team work.
