I really enjoyed the different techniques as they're great bits of information to take away and use. Also from a practical point of view I enjoyed the separate meetings to dial in to, less fuss!
Pleasantly surprised by how quick the fully online course went. Very interesting.
Very interesting course, good delivery pace and engaging delivery. Well timetabled as more than 1h30 at a screen I personally find difficult to concentrate on. Would like to practice negotiating but understand the difficulty of this on a virtual course over MS teams!
Given the limitations of having to do this virtually, rather than classroom, it was a very useful course.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the training. Found it extremely useful. I am still relatively new into the engagement aspect of my role so I think this was great to give me some direction as to how to approach it in difference situation. Very interesting, I hope I can put it into practice
Well organised, I was sceptical about an on-line course but was very impressed with it and particularly the trainer. Thank you Richard
It was full of good content on how to influence, What would really help would be to have a section of how to handle it when influencing not working. Really good example was on the active listening seciton where said if come back all defensive don't go to stage two, go back to stage 1 etc. ie it's good to have ideas of what to do but even better is to know how to move on when things aren't going right and get back on track, try something else.
The subject matter was good and explained how managers need to think about themselves as managers as well as the ability, values and motivation of the staff that they manage. The pace of the session was good though it was affected by the fact that the session was virtual which made interaction challenging.
