As ever, both Linda and Harli are excellent trainers. This group is very experienced with the techniques in use, so we had an impactful discussion in the morning about factors which may hinder staff delivery of primary and secondary strategies to deescalate incidents. In the afternoon we covered the breakaways and holds in use in our setting, with particular attention to new holds being used for specific learners, which staff may be less familiar with. Thank you both.

Response: Hello Connor, it's lovely to hear how the course is being developed more on the theorectical side rather than the physical skills and it's great to hear how impactful this was.

Great course that has been adapted to meet the requirements of the school. Felt like it now includes relational practice and a focus on the ethos of the school. Great course - thank you.

The greater concentration on well being will be of benefit to many staff, particularly those who work intensively with the most challenging learners
