RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,216 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Training went well and was very descriptive/detailed, it got you thinking about what you would/wouldn't do in certain situations reflecting on what you have done in the past and what you would do differently now with the new skills you have learnt. The trainer was a crucial part of the smoothness of the course and delivered it very well and got everyone taking part thinking and engaged.

In depth and productive 3 days of training learning theory, non restrictive and restrictive practices. Liam was attentive and ensured you fully understand everything before proceeding to the next section. I learned new de escalation techniques and how to manage intense situations. Liam also provided the humour needed for 3 days of training!
