RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,216 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Felt seen and listened to at all points. The course although restraint spent a good amount of time dealing with the ideas of de-escalation in depth which gave me real Confidence in my day to day work. Felt that the physical elements were appropriate to my role and taught with confidence- and practiced until I was confident. I really enjoyed the 3 days and feel that I’m a better practitioner for it.

Ben was very engaging, Ben made me feel confident in my abilities to de-escalate behaviour and with restrictive interventions. Ben and Grace were very supportive in demonstrating real life scenarios in which situations may arise to use restriction
