RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,285 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

The course booklet was comprehensive and a good point of reference for the future especially relevant legislation and further information to read etc. The content of the course was extremely relevant to our jobs and related directly to situations/ circumstances we may find ourselves in. Whilst the course taught restraint the ethos taught was primary strategies first and actual restraint as a last resort. The course was engaging, Ben was knowledgeable and very relatable and there was an emphasis on actual physical practice to fully embed learning - thouroghly enjoyed and would feel confident to use techniques learnt - thank you
