RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,284 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 days training with Jon and Ben. Both are very informative, resourceful, and impactful. The first day with Jon was about theory, strategies and behaviour. I feel like I have learnt a lot about the importance of communication and to understand behaviours of concern, why this could be happening, how to prevent an escalating situation and what to do in the event of a ‘crisis’. The last two days with Ben was very fun. He made the physical side of restraints easy to remember. I learnt how to restrain in the least restrictive manner and to do this safely for all persons involved.

Ben Feetenby is such a great tutor. It shows he knows what he’s gotten into and what he is doing. His level of adding humor to his lectures is top notch. I loved it. I never got bored or sleepy. The way he took up the course, very easy to understand. No form of confusion. The physical strength I developed while on this training, I never knew I could exhibit. All thanks to Ben. I enjoyed every bit of the training. Ben Feentenby pay should be raised, he’s really good at what he does.

Chantelle taught very well. She made it very easy to understand. She gave time to go through areas where I was unsure. Very friendly and approachable.
