RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,163 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Course was very well delivered, context was relevant and easily transferable to practice. I am coming away feeling confident in how to de-escalate a situation through following the PBS model.

Brilliant and informative! The session was the perfect balance - interactive, engaging, sensitive (to delegates needs and especially possible past histories that could be potential triggers during training). There was enough time to have reflective discussions which was great! Mainly, I have come away from the session feeling confident and refreshed regarding RPI’s but more importantly more confident in using de-escalation techniques that will enhance my practice with young people. Liam was brilliant throughout - personable, understanding (funny) and showed high levels of expertise and experience. It didn’t feel like death by power point!!! Thank you!
