RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,218 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I would say the training is really helpful as we can have difficult individuals on the ward and this would be a good course to train others as other wards get difficult individuals and kirstie is amazing :)

This course was the one of the best training courses I’ve been on! Kirstie is such a brilliant teacher, she kept me engaged and entertained by all her stories and teaching techniques. I have really enjoyed these past three days and never dreaded coming in like some training courses make me feel. I have learnt so much and will definitely be putting it into practice back on the ward. Thankyou again kirstie :)

Kirstie Reynolds was an amazing trainer. Her stories and experiences were so relevant and more importantly relevant to the course and the hospital setting. I really enjoyed all 3 days and hope all staff across NUH are able to take part in the future to ensure safety of both staff and patients are maintained. Thank you so so much!
