The first training day was a bit boring as it was just sat down listening to the trainer but the second day I really enjoyed as we were up and active but overall it was goodResponse : Hi Danielle. Thank you for your honest and constructive feedback. We understand that there is a lot of theory on day one which does not suit everyone and will take your feedback on board in our trainer development and course content meetings. We are so glad that you enjoyed day 2 more and that your overall experience was a very positive one.

I really enjoyed the course and would definitely have been able to use the breakaway techniques in previous work experiences, if I'd had the training. Liam was very open and friendly, he kept us engaged throughout the day. It was great that he gave active feedback and corrected us as we went along during the practical session.

I enjoyed the course, interactive and very informative. Learned a lot from our instructor Liam and it is essential for every staff to learn the importance of these tactics when looking after patients and families who are delirious, agitated or pose a Physical threat to staff. It is so useful for women , it empowers them to protect themselves in the community and use these tactics as self defence when they find themselves in vulnerable situations. Liam was so good, five stars for his enjoyable class.

Great trainer (Liam), very knowledgeable and well delivered. Day 2 much more relevant for staff working in the community, particularly around the breakaway techniques. All staff should get this training!Response : Hi Matt, thank you for recommending the training to everyone as it is relevant for everyone in the hospital setting as well as the community. I used a lot of the primary and secondary strategies myself whilst working both in hospital and in the community to really good effect.
