I enjoyed this course, it was presented in the way I can learn. For example, a lot interaction, leaving no room to feel not engage. There was a lot of information but with the engagement from Liam and ourselves, it worked really well. There was room for laughter within the group.

I really enjoyed the overall day and content of the course. Liam was very engaging and interacted at an appropriate level. I particularly enjoyed the use of metaphors and relatable factors that Liam introduced throughout delivery of the training. I also felt that Liam built up a good enough rapport across the group, so that he was able to scaffold relationships regarding small group work activities. I lvery much ook forward to the next session. Liam is the perfect presenter for this course. His own knowledge, passion and expertise was very evident.Response : Thank you so much for your detailed feedback, Sharyn. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the course content and found Liam’s approach engaging and effective. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and look forward to the next session with you.

Liam was fantastic and very engaging. However, training appeared to be more tailored to paediatric healthcare professionals and did not reflect the role of mental health nurses (which they practice most content already) in the trust. However this is a observation of the trust commissioning the training, not Liam’s deliveryResponse : Hello Francesca, Thank you for sharing your feedback, it’s great to hear that Liam’s delivery came across as engaging and effective. As a mental health nurse myself, I understand how much of the course content reflects practice that’s already embedded in our day-to-day work. The first day is designed to give a broad foundation around behavioural principles, applicable across settings, but I do appreciate your point about how it may have felt more aligned with paediatric contexts in this instance. Your observation about the commissioning is particularly useful, and we’ll certainly reflect that in future discussions to ensure content feels as relevant and tailored as possible for all participants. We’re always grateful for feedback that helps us improve, so thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Course has made me think about my behaviours in the work place and how I influence situations. It’s made me realise the different approaches that I can now utilise in my practice. Ben kept the group engaged in the teaching and relevant to work place situations.
