AI summary of reviews

Engaging, knowledgeable trainers make this first-aid course memorable, combining clear explanations and humour with hands-on practice in CPR, bandaging and AED use. Attendees value the relaxed, inclusive atmosphere, opportunities to ask questions and the balance of theory, videos and practical activities, with trainers checking understanding and adapting the pace. They leave with updated knowledge and greater confidence to respond to emergencies at work and beyond, although the full content can feel intensive in one day.

The majority of first aid courses I’ve done in the past were mundane and borderline boring, Mark was by far the best trainer I’ve ever witnessed, fun, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable, made the course interesting and learnt more than before!! Bravo mark

Good trainer, plenty of real-world anecdotes that went well with the by-the-book training, corrected gaps in knowledge of participants well and had good banter and interaction with the other attendees.

I raised serious complaints about the conduct and competency of the trainer as it was clear he was not a first aider, did not know or understand what he was teaching and was not professional. Additionally, half of the attendees were sent to a different location on the day and the accuracy of the 'test' required was proven to be wrong. There was a mix of those doing the requalification with those learning first aid for the first time. This day definitely was not good enough to consider those attending their first training to be qualified at the end. The instructor gave incorrect instructions and was not competent himself. I'm sorry, I do not recall the trainer's name. This was the course in the Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
