Largely well structured striking the right balance between theory and practical. Potential to add some content relevant to the setting and services provided by us as the end user.

It was a fantastic day- its my first time doing a health and safety course- but the way Hazel went through things explaining the reasons we did every thing not just the what to do will really help me remember the content

Great course, Darren made the course fun and enjoyable whilst delivering the content. The best first aid course I've been on in the 25years I've been first aid trained.

I recently attended the 1-Day Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Course (RQF), and I can confidently say it was both comprehensive and highly practical. This course is perfect for anyone looking to gain essential first aid knowledge and skills in a short time. Content and Structure: The course content was well-structured, covering key topics like CPR, treating minor injuries, managing shock, and handling unconscious casualties. In just one day, it provided a solid grounding in emergency first aid, which is crucial for workplace safety. Instructor Quality: Our instructor, Leila French, was knowledgeable and engaging, ensuring that the content was accessible, even for those without prior first aid experience. Leila used practical examples, and we were encouraged to ask questions, which kept the group engaged. Hands-On Practice: What stood out most was the hands-on practice. We had opportunities to use CPR dummies, practice bandaging techniques, and simulate real-life scenarios. This helped reinforce theoretical knowledge, making it easier to remember what to do in a real emergency. Certification: The course culminated in a practical assessment, after which we received an RQF-accredited Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, valid for three years. This certification is beneficial for anyone needing an official qualification for workplace health and safety compliance. Facilities and Materials: The venue was comfortable and equipped with all the necessary first-aid materials. The training materials provided were clear, concise, and helpful for post-course revision. Overall Experience: In a single day, this course successfully equipped me with the confidence and skills to act in an emergency, which is invaluable in any workplace. For those looking to enhance workplace safety without a long-term time commitment, this course is ideal.
