More informative than my last course and therefore more interesting, trainers made it fun for everybody as well as getting all the information across very clearly.

I have done a few first-aid course and this was by far the best. The instructor's prior knowlwdge and skills were obvious and I particularly liked that he put into perspective a first-aider's skill compared to that of 999-operators, paramedics, etc. and was keen to impress upon us that first-aid in an emergency is help given while waiting for professionals to arrive (on previous courses I always had concerns that we were told to assess the person's condition before calling 999;in my opinion, if somebody is unconscious or bleeding badly no further assessment is needed). He also told us how to register our mobile phones with the emergency services, which I found very useful and have passed on to others.
