Course was good, but a textbook to follow up with the program would be great
would be a great course if more time and hands on training was implemented.
I just feel that if we had more time we would be better prepared for when it comes to the test
Overall, the course was informative, though overwhelming.
For individuals coming into this with no knowledge at all it should offer more resources to catch up to some others that may have more knowledge in the field. This course however, does not meet that expectation. By the end of this course individuals should be comfortable and ready to take the exam for the certification. However, this is not the case instead it leads to more studying and resource searches due to lack of resources. For the previous course in ITIL a huge variety of materials were provided and due to that my overall readiness for the exam allowed me to take it immediately after completing the course.
Give the people who are paying thousands of dollars for this, the slides to be able to take notes on. "it's proprietary" is a cop out when you are literally ripping off a proprietary test, to teach. Don't send Career Services to speak to a class on a thursday when they are taking a final on friday... what a colossal waste of time and effort, to stop test prep. mondays and tuesdays should be the only days for career services. Give us the actual resources to study.
The course structure was done very well. It allowed me to try and keep up and work on catching up when I felt like I was falling behind, thanks to the instructor. My only wish is that I could have had the ability to somehow get together with other students that were understanding the course work better so that I could get their assistance with some of the concepts that I was struggling to grasp.
