Great course, very time constrained, I have some experience and would say this is not necessarily a beginner course unless you are able to commit some time prior to reading up on some of the basics. I think this course would be VERY difficult without some sort of relative base knowledge beyond what an average user has. The course would be good for beginners if it was more then 40 hours total. I believe an extra 2-3 days or adding another week would make this a true beginner course or just specifying some reading materials to read prior to the class, sort of like summer reading back in elementary school.
Everything should be taught even though some people knw it.
Instructor (Jerry Carrillo) is clear & very patient; understands various learning/teaching styles, Instructor is very positive & helps to explain material with great pace.
Enjoyable course, I have a much better understanding of computer functionality than before.
As stated previously, I gained more knowledge about 1101 than when you started but when I tried the practice exams I did not score well. I realized that unless you have an adequate IT background and/or devote more time you won't be ready for the Certification Exam.
Wonderful course to take to get new overall learning.
Overall the course taught was fantastic, but the ACI materials specifically the slide shows were lacking and seemed rushed. But, with the supplemental materials, and the instructor's knowledge it was easy to find the flaws in the provided materials; he did his best to create his own supplementary materials overnight. For that, I applaud the effort.
The best possible instructor, horrible materials, the situation was made better by the professor.
Overall a good course, I like that we were given extra resources outside of just the ACI learning ones provided to get a better hold of the subject, and the instructor did an amazing job to make sure we knew what was going on.
Overall I really enjoyed the material and the class. Our instructor was very engaged, high energy and very in tune with the materials and the topics.
