GOOD course , was surprised by the number of videos we watched as homework. BUT DEFINITELY UP TO SPEED.
Focus on troubleshooting, the labs may help you out on this. I passed the cert exam with 77%, but it wasn't easy.
Great class, I feel a lot more knowledgeable on the subjects it covered. I only wish we had spent more time on important subjects to really get comfortable with them.
Overall it was good, however, some of the material that was explained wasn't on the practice exams. For example, the slides had nothing on printers yet the practice tests asked in depth questions about printers.
It was an amazing course thanks for the lessons!
I, personally, think that a "Loopback adapter" definitely needs to be purchased in order to provide a much better visual of what the tool looks like, because the Powerpoint slides do not. As well as there needs to be a section over "Raid". Raid 0, 1, 5, and 10. If we're going to be tested on that topic, that topic needs to be expressly taught. While we were still taught, because of our great "Edutainer" there was not a section provided in the Powerpoint presentation, as well as not being provided with an "eBook" for this course was a major hindrance. I also think the Cisco Packet Tracer also needs to be implemented more in this course, because it's a "gateway" to enter, and understand more of the following "A+ 1102" and "Net+" courses. In which Cisco Packet Tracer, as well as physical Network Topologies need to be practiced, I think.
More hands on training incorporated within the course
Courses are great and you get a lot of information. If the the instructors slowed down the course. The students wouldn't have to relearn material at home, instead of review and memorize the info.
Better instructor would have been extremely helpful.
