I really enjoyed the course and learnt some new things. Steve was very good with how he taught the course, everything he discussed he made it simple and easy to understand. I enjoyed the videos which were included throughout the course, I found them to be very detailed and well explained.

Open book exam great because it reflects what I would do in the real world, but questions often used specific terms exactly the same as in the ESMS documentation, which made it easy for people like me that know how to use the search tools.

I thought the course was overall good, its a dry uninteresting subject and as its based on the understanding and ability to find information from a plethora of documents its difficult to create an exam. I think perhaps as a way of checking subject matter awareness the questions may well confirm the student is able to read rather than they fully understand the processes described.

Far too much information crammed into one day over MS teams, hard to keep up with the presentation and ESMS procedures.
Response : Dear Paul Thank you for your feedback. As you may know this format for the training was placed upon us at short notice and is the first time we have delivered it in this way. We are learning from it and the course is now delivered over 2 days instead of the one. The section on the procedures is also now broken down to hopefully give trainees more time to digest and find answers to the practice questions the number of which have also been shortened. Your comments regarding access to the ESMS documentation are noted and I will be discussing this with your management to see how best this can be resolved.

I believe practical aspects over teams is difficult to do and the final practice test was too long and not interactive
Response : Hi Craig Thanks for your feedback. I think your comments regarding the practice questions are valid. WE have now in fact reduced the number of practice questions down to 30. AS regards breaking them up I think this is a good idea and will certainly consider this for future courses. Thanks & Regards
