I've been exceptionally happy with the guidance, care and overall support that Les has given so far on the apprenticeship. I have found his sessions engaging, clear and inspiring.
Les has given me the confidence to learn and be open with my struggles throughout the course. very supportive and easy to talk to
My overall experience has been positive. There was a slightly bumpy start with Deera Apprenticeship, as I initially found it challenging, but things improved as I progressed. i have no major issues or concerns at present,
Over all good, found the registration and all the services provided very confusing and at times not getting timely correspondence is not very helpful.
Jane is engaging, but does not read from slides which is handy as you feel like you are learning. The use of examples from real life and learners jobs helps make the theory stick and the quizzes at the end to reinforce knowledge is excellent.
I have found my one-to-one sessions with Dave to be very valuable. He takes the time to explain things in a clear and understandable way, which has helped build my confidence throughout the course. Dave is always supportive, approachable, and willing to make time to help whenever needed
Although I am only a few months into my Level 3 Improvement Technician course, I have already started using some of the approaches from the course within my everyday work, including looking at problems in a more structured way, considering root causes and thinking about how processes could be improved rather than simply accepting the way things have always been done. I know there is a lot more for me to learn and put into practice. However, I am enjoying the course and feel that it is already helping me develop both professionally and personally. I am looking forward to building on what I have learned so far and continuing to apply the knowledge and improvement techniques to my role. Overall, I feel the course is highly relevant to my position and is giving me practical skills that I can use immediately within my everyday work. I am looking forward to seeing how much more I can take from the course as I progress through the remainder of the programme.
Completing the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship has been a challenging, rewarding, and transformative experience. The programme has significantly enhanced my knowledge, confidence, and capability as a senior leader and has provided me with valuable opportunities to apply academic theory directly to my professional practice. Throughout the programme, I have developed a deeper understanding of strategic leadership, organisational culture, change management, financial management, stakeholder engagement, governance, and ethical leadership. Importantly, the programme has encouraged me to critically reflect on my own leadership style and consider how my decisions and actions impact staff, service users, stakeholders, and the wider organisation. One of the most valuable aspects of the apprenticeship has been the opportunity to apply learning to real-life organisational challenges. This has strengthened my ability to analyse complex situations, make evidence-based decisions, manage change effectively, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. It has also reinforced the importance of values-based leadership, particularly within health and social care, where the quality of leadership directly influences the quality and safety of services. I am particularly grateful for the consistent support, guidance, and constructive feedback provided by my personal tutor and other tutors throughout the programme. Their encouragement and willingness to challenge my thinking helped me develop academically and professionally and gave me the confidence to strive for a high standard. Achieving a Distinction is a significant personal and professional achievement, and I recognise the contribution that the support I received made to this success. Overall, the apprenticeship has strengthened my leadership capability and has given me greater confidence to lead strategically, influence others, manage risk, and drive sustainable improvement. I am proud of what I have achieved and intend to continue applying the knowledge, skills, and behaviours developed throughout the programme to make a positive and lasting contribution to my organisation, colleagues, and the people we support. I would highly recommend the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship to experienced professionals who are committed to developing their leadership capability and making a meaningful impact within their organisations.
