I felt I benefited more from the assertiveness course. The Negotiation course I felt I covered most of this in my day to day to role

The trainer should make a greater effort to include all members of the team. On occasion the conversation was driven by a small number of members.

The trainer was good and tried to be interactive. The main problem was the materials of the course that in my opinion was too basic and not in lign. It was also a lot of presentation through Powerpoint which doesn't necessarily create debates and discussion with the group to be able to share best practices and knowledge.

I expected to come away with tools to enable me to deal with certain circumstances and tools that would benefit me when interacting with customers where I need to be assertive. I dont feel that I have been equipped with additional tools.

I found the course useful & interesting overall. As project managers we run meetings all the time so we'd specifically asked for focus on facilitation.

As above, a bit thin on the ground although the trainer was very good and clearly knowledgeable.

No on street free parking as described in prior course communications. Course materials were inadequate - we were only given a handout of powerpoint presentation, nothing else, no info or guidlines.Response : Hi Ria - I have contacted the venue about the free street parking as they state that on their website. In the joining instructions we do make it quite clear that parking outside the venue is metred. Apologies for any confusion. Within the course Brian provides a number of examples of documentation and points of reference and I also believe he offers to speak to anyone with specific questions or issues outwith the course. If this wasn't done, I would be happy to put him in touch with you. Please just drop me a quick email and I will get that arranged laura@cosensa.co.uk

Margaret ran the course well and clearly was very familiar with the subject matter. She was able to provide advice and techniques which I am sure will be helpful going forward. The actually material was a little 'light' but maybe necessary for only a one day course. The main thing that let the experience down was the fact there was only one other delegate on the course, who was very new to the role. I found this very limiting as there was no one to learn from or share ideas with. I believe more knowledge and insight would have been gained if more attendees were on the course to take part in the case studies and activities.Response : Thank you for your comments, Elizabeth and yes, we understand your frustration. The numbers on open courses are something we continually have to manage - we can have seven on a course in Belfast and two on the same course in Newcastle. We do offer to put the course date back to try encourage numbers (indeed I believe we did that in this instance), and looking at the record on this particular course, there was plenty interest, just not everyone could commit to attending. I hope you understand we would love it if all our courses ran with larger numbers, but this is not always possible. Equally, we cannot frustrate clients by repeatedly pushing course dates out - there is a fine line. We also offer a 1:1 option if a course fails to generate numbers and we often find this hugely successful.

No Vegan choice on the Menu and a little more choice for Vegetarians would be lovelyResponse : Hi Charlotte - we are sorry you were disappointed with the menu choice. We had been informed about your vegetarian requirements and we offer three vegetarian options on our menu, plus everything is prepared fresh on the day, you only had to ask about vegan options and we could have accommodated. It truly would not have been an issue. We hope you found the training experience a valuable one and we we see you on one of our courses again soon
