I started the day with a great deal of anxiety about my media skills and subsequent interviews I had lined up. Sean and Elissa kindly and sympathetically accommodated my anxiety and provided one to one support when it was appropriate. I feel I’ve built my confidence managing complex media interviews

The pre-training materials were useful in preparing me for the in person session with Mark and allowed me to build up a better understanding on the concepts. Mark, and also the camera operator Jonathon, were great in providing guidance alongside examples and feedback on my performance to further my understanding and enable my preparation for the upcoming filming event.

A very interesting day, I really enjoyed it and was certainly a stretch. The course flowed very nicely in terms of structure and then the practical exercises. The fact that you could familiarise yourself with a radio station and a TV studio was hugely beneficial. The course tutor Victoria was very patient and supportive and brought real world examples to give context.
