Very tailored to the context of the training - for consultants. Content material slightly wide and was too much to cover during the training sessions.
The training was very comprehensive and straightforward. I learned a lot of things even though I have already been working in M&A for over a year.
Pacing at times fast, wished it was a bit more engaging
If the presentation matched the model we actually used, it would've been much more intuitive and easy to follow during the lecture portions of the course. But other than that, the techniques are very useful and the model is fairly decent. I will definitely find myself trying to get the techniques I learned integrated into my daily modeling.
I really liked the course, but during most of the excel based quizzes I was not able to see any of the work referenced in the question. I did my best to still answer the questions, but it was definitely an inconvenience. A couple of the non-excel quizzes were also glitching and not showing some of the questions which made it much harder to answer the quiz questions. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the course though.
The course itself was worthwhile. A longer schedule would offer more time to get into detailed modeling but given the time constraints, the material was appropriate. The facilities are sub par. We are all working professionals and there was no place to breakout for a call or zoom. The room was very hot all week. The portable air conditioning unit was not sufficient. Given the price of the course, these issues were surprising.
This course has upped my speed in excel considerably; It's a must-take for anyone entering PE. I do think I've gotten much more out of it after having been in my role for a few months than had I taken it before my start date.
Instructor does well to accommodate the various bases of knowledge in the classroom
It’s a good refresher of what we learned in school and last summer. The instructor is great at teaching us these concepts
